TUTOR
Mrs. Basile

"I am a graduate of the University of West Georgia where I earned my bachelor’s degree in mathematics along with a grades 7-12 teaching certification.  I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia but have had the privilege to call Texas, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and most recently, Rochester, home.

Since I was very young, my dream job was always to be a wife and raise a family, and I have seen that realized over the past 21 years. I’m very thankful for the varied expriences that the Lord has set before me which include homeschooling my four children, teaching at homeschool co-ops in Kentucky and Pennsylvania, coaching cross country and track, substitute teaching public school, and tutoring many levels of math from 2nd grade through collge algebra.

I love spending time with my family and friends, teaching and exercising. I’m particularly fond of middle and high school students and desire for them to have an excitement and understanding of whatever is being taught, whether it’s math or biology, through discovery and hands on learning so that they will value being lifelong learners.

One of God’s promises that I love is Philippians 1:6, “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” What hope we have!"
